@itsadam5118 Hi, In total my setup costs around £800, that is a Garmin R10, forb pop up net and a second hand driving range mat for £30, however you can easily spend more on the mat.

Hi, I just use my Samsung S20 along with a type c wireless lavier mic, and my latest net is relatively new and a pop up net, but my old net was holding up fine in UK weather conditions 👍

Poor strike (as mentioned) and still learning 😉, im sure you were smashing 300 yards bombs at the beginning?!?

@@ba_golf ATM I don't use driver when going for accuracy . that said I didn't know what poor strike meant until u said it here . I currently hit further with my irons so I use those until I. better with my drivers at the range

@@ba_golf thank you, i found sometimes using Ptiching or 9 iron, sometimes not detect my swing, did you have similiar issue about after swing, the R10 not detected

@simonfrady Hi, no I have not had any issues with miss reads. But I do know the R10 can be quite sensitive to other objects, such as metal objects or fans.

@@ba_golf thank you for that, i try realocate the devices. and one more, i feel using R10 will lose around 10 meters hits, even i let my Pro Coach hitting using R10 also said reduces around 10meters different with actual

@simonfrady Ah yes, you will need to adjust the Altitude, humidity and temperature before starting a session. I apply the following. Altitude = 5200 Humidity = 65 Temperature = 85 Give this a try as I find these settings improved accuracy on distance 👌

@jerodwarney3055 Hi, yeah, it is holding up well, but this is probably due to the fact that I pack it away after each use. No, I haven't treated it, but I have been thinking about applying something to make it last longer. No, the mat is just placed on top of the platform and also put away after each use. And no, the wood does not creak 🙂, hope this helps 👍

@Stevienikon Hey mate, thanks for the info, really appreciate you taking the time to give me your thoughts on this net. I have only used a couple times now, and I am getting a little confident using it. I did also think the same regarding the baffle net and it's sides being attached to the outer net, I was going to use either bungees or these velcro straps I have. I love the idea of jacking it up to a 3x3 net/cage!!! That would be awesome! Please do let me know if you mange to do this as I may do the same 👍 and thanks for the support on the channel 😀

@@ba_golf no worries, also if it helps, before I got the garmin R10, I used some red ribbon threaded between the gaps to give me an alignment line to aim at in the bafell net. That way I could see if I was pushing or pulling shots. Only other tip I was given was now I have the r10, to help quickly set up the alignment. I stick a tee in the ground at the bottom of the bafell net we’re I want to hit, then get a heavy duty metal retractable tape measure ( about an inch wide not the thin ones) then hook it on pull the line back, not only do you get your distances, ie 7ft back from hitting point, but as it’s a thick measure tape you get a nice staring line to drop alignment stick next to and then aim you r10 down that line once the tape measure removed. Since I’ve done that my alignment on the r10 has been spot on, it’s just me who can’t hit a straight ball🤣🤣

Steve how long woul dyou say it takes you now to setup and disassemble? Do you have any videos to look at of this?

@@aljames7345 hi mate, I reckon I get mine up in about 8 minutes. From the bag, I pull the poles out lay to the side. Then pull the net out in a line in front of the bag. Then lift out the frame. Unfold it, put the poles in and hey presto I’m off. I do take longer after though setting up and aligning my garmin r10 to make sure it is straight etc. do t have any videos but may try to do one in the future if it helps. What I would say is you don’t need a step ladder to hook the top of the poles to the net, just bend them over as they are super flexible, or put the top pole in first and just slot the two together in the middle rather than trying to put them in as one long pole! @simonfrady Yes. Using the Garmin Golf app you can pay £9 per month and the use the Home Tee Hero within the app, which simulates 42,000 real world courses

@laguilar00 Yes, the Garmin R10 simulates ball flight based on measured data. You can either do driving range sessions or play local golf courses through the golf sim applications.
